Soundboard 2.0b – Sound cueing program designed for theatrical use.

by admin on August 15, 2009

Soundboard is a Java based sound cueing program designed for theatrical use. It aims to be simple to use and maintain cross platform compatibility so that a sound designer who uses a Mac can build a show, and have it play back on the theatre’s Windows-based playback computer. Soundboard provides a cross platform and open source alternative to programs such as QLab and SFX. It is designed to be simple enough for high school students and community theatres to use, and yet robust enough to be a viable application at a regional theatre.
